Question:
Back Injury's
History- i have blown out my disc's at L5/S1 & L4/L5 when lifting a cable drum at work. A few months after I was in a pretty bad car accident which has stirred every thing up. Now my thoracic ,shoulders, neck and lower back is giving me more grief as you could probably imagine. I have tyred hydrotherapy and it had helped a little. I have done some clinical plates and that to has helped a little. My whole back is stiff, tight and can get real painful. I am looking for any suggestions on any type of exercises and stretching to loosen me up, back strengthening and core strengthening, even supplements or some sort of program or type of training to help me recover and get back on track that is known to be safe for this type of natured injury?

You would need to get clearance from your doctor or any medical professional before a trainer could prescribe you an exercise routine/ programme. Even though this is only a website, we would be breaching our professional code of conduct.

mmm... That would also depend on whether or not he's seen a doctor for the back injury. A disc injury isn't a very nice one however, it can be replaced with a plastic one or something by means of an operation.
As for your back and neck being stiff. The biggest problem lies in your gluteal muscles, hamstrings, hip flexors and lumbar spine rather than anything else.
I seriously need to make a demo of this particular stretching routine that I use with most of my clients. It clears most postural problems together with back tension. When the demo is made I'll put the link up here.
