your abs/core are probably strong but maybe aren't 'showing' because of a layer of fatty tissue over the surface. are you only doing crunches? if so i suggest you mix it up with some total core work to get the most benefit and prevent injury - especially lower back problems.

You need to get below 10% bodyfat for your abs to show.

Because of your diet, rich in fat i assume, you are 14 and you probably eating 5-6 burgers per week.Correct me if (I'm sorry, but most of the kids of your age have that nasty habbit)) I'm wrong, and the second and most usuall mistake(because its a mistake indeed) is the fact that you overtrain your abs, they need some rest. And something else, never train them at night!!! For times per week for a start and never at night.Sorry for my bad English.

Circuit training once a week is nothing and crunches every night is a bad idea. Clean up your diet and run at least 5 days a week also just working your abs will not give you a six pack because to have a six pack you must have low body fat% so working your big muscle groups like your legs and chest and back to burn more calories is more beneficial. But clean diet is the most important I have worked out 5 days a week for about a year now and I still don't have a six pack because I find it very hard to eat clean all the time I am 16 and I want to eat chocolate and stuff like that so it is very hard to get a six pack if you are not one of the lucky people with a very high metabolism from birth keep working hard and it will come.
