What sport are you competing f5combo?

If its simply a generic question then the point needs to be made that VO2max does not always related to performance in aerobic events. E.g. in the Triathlon velocity at Lactate Threshold is a more accurate performance indicator than VO2max or vVO2max.

So before trying to increase VO2max (which would involve long and hard aerobic exercise) ask yourself if you really need to.

Interval training. 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 with 2 keepers. 3 minutes of playing and 3 minutes of rest. Do this at least 5 times - depending on the players condition.
