Hello there. I would personally consider a couple of things. Please bear in mind I don't know the full degree of your injury, I am assuming it is a minor injury - so you would be best to seek GP/physio view too.
I would say keep active! The blood flow will increase to the sight of the injury, helping it to get better. Though I dare say you need to help it with some mobility exercises too. Make sure you are warming up properly and cool down with plenty of stretches for round your hip area. Your hamstrings, glutes, adductors (heels together and ease your knees down) and your psoas muscles in the front of the pelvic girdle ALL contribute.
You may have tired or knotted muscles though so seek some other advice from a masseur or sports therapist.
