Question:

Got something from your sport to complain about?

hey, if theres something you're annoyed about to do with you're sport/club/team/etc. i want to hear about it! i have a complaint i would like to share.
out of my club, i have the more medals and more achievements and have participated in more then anyone! i have dedicated myself to the sport so much it isn't funny! i am only a junior, and i get no recognition! i compete all over the place, wearing my clubs uniform, and my club doesn't even know that i'm there half the time, even when i get gold medals in front of them! the other day i was asked how many medals i have, i told them and they told me to bring in the medals to prove it cause they couldnt even recall me being there! i have competed over seas plenty of times and no one has noticed even when i come home with 9 gold medals around my neck! and whats even more annoying, is that a mate of mine went over seas with me ONCE (it was his first time, and my 10th) and the club paid for him to go and not me, even though i'm better then him and can beat him in a race (and i'm a girl, so i'm doing well). i'm really annoyed but no matter what, i'm never giving up the sport :D.
so yeah... glad i got that off my chest.
now i want to hear your complaints!

Thats quite a moan!

I am very frustrated by the national governing body for Triathlon, the BTF who still haven't announced the venues and dates for their major races such as the national Championships and it is nearly the end of April! How am I supposed to plan my training when I don't know when I need to peak!

I play Ice Hockey, and the problem is the lack of recognition for the sport in the USA. Major cities usually have some kind of hockey club, but anywhere else it can be hard to even find ice!

For me, I have a complaint about my local soccer. I've played at some respectable levels (regional and OCAA) and currently play 1st division men's league here where I live (Ontario). However, the last 2 years the two local towns where we play have been shutting down fields due to rain. It's ridiculous! Soccer is played in just about everything (except lightning of course). I understand if they shut fields down during excessive puddling, or down-pours. But they're shutting down pitches on us when it rained throughout the night and we play the next night.
Recently we had the fields close 6.5hrs prior to kickoff because it rained overnight. By the time kickoff time came around, it was sunny, perfect weather for soccer and pitches were just fine (I know for a fact).

It's ridiculous that we pay to play, we're so passionate for this game, and our cities are keeping us off the pitches for this reason. GRRRRRR.....
