how can i increases my vertical jump

i m a 21 years old boy my sports is basketball.i love to play basketball but my vertical jump is only 15inches .i want to incrases my vertical leap .so please send some exersise tips so that i increases my vertical jump and able to dunk the ball.

U WANT TO NEED SOME WORKED WITH UR CALF MUSCLES. THERE RESPONSE IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO UR JUMP, TRY TO INCREASED UR EFFORT AT THE TIME OF JUMPING, AND U NEED SOME SPECIAL EXCERCISES WHICH ARE FOCUSSED ON UR LOWER PORTION.AND TAKE SOOP OF THE JOINTS OF GOAT.

You need to do some plyometrics training to increase the power in your legs. Any kind of movements that are explosive i.e jumping, hopping and skipping will help improve the height of your vertical jump. But to be powerful you need a good strength base to build on before you can be good at this.

However you can research (google) plyometrics training exercises and there is a wide variety out there that van assist you in becoming a greater vertical jump.

i had a medial mensicus tear willi continue playing foot ball without surgery or would it be dangerous in developing other injuuries as cruciate injury
