Question:

How does a teen girl get fit?

So, I am 14 and I want to be healthier... Just recovered from anorexia, and I really can't do anything. I think the most push ups I could do without passing out is 15 (and those aren't good push ups), and Im pretty sure I can do 25 crunches tops, maybe 30. I can't run fast to save my life and my core muscles are basically jello brand gelatin. BUT I eat pretty healthy, lots of protein, fruits and veggies. So, whats a good workout for someone like me? I can't do most of the stuff here without hurting myself:(... I want to be stronger and have more muscle... Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks:)

Hello, I'm so pleased to hear that you have managed to recover from your anorexia.

I am by no means an expert thereofre I recommend you speak to a professional trainer, many gyms have junior memberships and it would be best for someone to devise a plan specifically for you and be with you to ensure you are performing the exercises correctly.

Plank exercises are good for building core strength there is also an arcticle on improving core strength here.

Body Pump classes are good for building muscle and strength and will not bulk you up so you don't need to worry about ending up looking like a man!
Very good luck to you.
