really complicated case. my advice is: if you practice a individual sport and he's your sport coach and physical coach, is best for you to search another coach.

There are a couple of questions you need to ask yourself:
1) what is it I can't stand about him?
2) what are the good things we're doing here? Focus for a couple of minutes before and after each session on specific positive things that you have done with him.
3) what can I learn from him (even if it is things not to do!); about him and about myself?
It helps if you like your coach but it is not essential. There needs to be some aspect of respect, for yourself if nobody else. Focus on your training, train as hard as you can under his direction and see what results you get. Be like a sponge, soak up everything he knows and will tell you. There's a good chance that you will gain his respect from your dedication to your sport but even if you don't, you can look yourself in the eye.
Get yourself a good comedy mp3/cd/dvd and when a session goes badly, pick out why so you can change it next time but don't dwell on it. Stick on the comedy and laugh. It helps a lot.

as you are still in high school i suggest just do your best to get along with him, it wont be forever and then when you leave high school you can get a pt and get one that you like, just learn as much as you can from him in the time being :)
