I have pain around my knee cap is this normal??
I have dislocated my knee twice this year, Six week ago i had knee athroscopy, realignment and lateral release. I have recently been trying to bend my leg as told by the physio but i find i get a a sharp pain in the area sorrounding the knee cap (patella) is this normal? i do not see my surgeon till next week but would like advice now.

Unfortunately not much can be said until you've seen the surgeon. I suspect possible ligament tears in which case, you should rather try to demobilize movement within the knee until you've seen your surgeon.
