Lifting doesn't make me happy anymore - why?

Sometimes when I lift I just don’t feel like even being in the gym. This has happened periodically over the past several weeks. What is happening?

You sound without knowing most of the particulars that you are in a state of over trained. Take some time off of the gym. Your body will tell you when it is time to go back. It depends on how serverely over trained you are, you may take a few days off or you may need weeks. Dont wait too long though because it will be hard to come back! Make sure to continue the suppliments while you are out. Good luck!

Looks like the person in question needs to look at all the different aspects of his sport. How often is he training,does he allow enough recovery time between training, how often do they completely change their routine and what is their diet like.

Training can get boring and anything we can do to make it that little bit more interesting will help.
I have been lifting weights for 31 years, with ten of those as a competitive powerlifter, and look at the year ahead and plan my training according to what I want to achieve. I feel that setting small achievable goals helps to focus on my training and stops me getting stale.Keeping a record of your training will let you see if the program you are on is suitable for you and let you know how you are progressing in acheiving your goals.

OVERTRAINING,SAME EXERCISES OVER AND OVER, or your used to talking or being with friends in the gym instead of doing what you should be. try changing routines up, take up a stretching routine and watch your body slim up.
