Question:
Any insight into Collagen supplementation and joint support?
I've heard that collagen is a good choice for joint support/maintenance. Some argue better that glucosamine/chondroitin. Any advice???

The GAIT Trial suggests that glucosamine 1500mg per day with chondroitin 1200mg per day has beneficial effects over placebo in OA knee . However this hasonly been shown in moderate to severe knee pain. So no evidence for prevention of probs, however if this dose helps when probs are existing it may suggest if you are going to try it, then use simialr doses. glen
