if your talking about one exercise for the rest of your life it'd have to be walking, not very fun i guess but its the exercise less likely to cause injury through overuse and unbalanced muscles etc...

are u talking about ETM classes or just simply exercìse ? ETM would be boxercise or spinning and an everyday exercise would be walking/jogging .BUt remember any exercise that raises our heartrate is good , every one likes different things . so try many forms of aerobic exercises then decide what you think is best for you. Happy training.

i think jogging offers a lot of benefits for your body. If you do long distance it also provides you with an endurance test not forgeting tone many body muscles as you haul your weight along!

For all around aerobic exercise, nothing beats swimming. It's low joint impact means you can swim well into your old age without injuries. It's also a great endurance and stamina building sport.

Sprinting is also one of my favorites, it allows for fast increased heart rates for VO2 max training, builds power and strength. And the caloric burn is substantial in very little time.

your goals? but if your goals are to increase your VO2 max or submaximal exercise then most aerobic exercise would do. just need to have a program plan that abides to your goal

Squash and swimming are tied for it. But swimming edge it for me because it burns more calories and it actually allow you to stay sweat free while working your whole body.

i would say power walking rather than running because of the lesser impact on the joints.....but i prefer running more for the enjoyment.

off road cycling, has the stamina part without the long boring hours of country lanes which you would find on road rides. it also helps with co-ordination and upper body strength.

If I could maintain it forever and never develop injuries- running...no doubt. The runners high is the best ever. Since, that's not real....Swimming- it gives you aerobic and resistance training.
