Are you busy with a flexibility program whilst training?

Hey Rik,
I think you need to go see a qualified health professional who has a sports injuries background for a full assessment.

Saying that I have have treated plenty cyclists and triathletes, They commonly have the same problems, tight psoas muscles(Hip Flexors),iliotibial band syndrome and +/- some lower back stiffness.

I'm glad to see that you have had no injuries over the years so its important that you get your current injury sorted asap, I certainly don't recommend the wait and see approach.

Regards
SL

I'll agree with sldc, just also make sure you stretch your gluteal muscles together with your hip flexors then.
