Quickest solution to increasing VO2max and anaerobic endurance
I am preparing for next year's Judo season which requires a lot of fitness, both aerobic and anaerobic.
What would be the best sort of program to maintain in order to have a high VO2max and lactate threshold?

There is never a decent quick solution, however embarking on a cross training programme would be excellent for you as that keeps your body being taxed. also you'll be less like likely to injury through pattern overload.
use boxing/ sparring, circuit training, running, rowing, and judo drills all to build your CV work.
combine this with some progressive strength work and your fighting skills and you will do just fine!!!
With the current program that I'm running, I believe I'm seeing good results. When I first started training 4 weeks ago, I had a VO2max of about 30 if not less.
I'm now standing on 45.
Program included stuff like, 10m, 20m, 50m, 200m and 400m sprints. 1500m, 3000m, 5000m runs at race pace for as long as i can hold it. Upper body conditioning, trunk, biceps, triceps and pecs (on the field) and squats.

Check "Tabata intervals" article on this Peak Performace web. Also you can check "Concurrent training" article, so you can work on both things at the same day (aerobic and anaerobic)!.
Also check Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT) article, it is so good for VO2 increasing.
