Has anyone implemented steps to address the Relative Age Effect?
The relative age effect is a bias in junior selection and talent ID processes that consistently favours children born in the earlier part of the year relative to the eligibility date for that age-based group (for example, if the cut-off date is January 1, often there will be 3-4 times as many kids selected who were born in the Jan-Mar than Oct-Dec) - does anyone know of a sporting body anywhere that has implemented steps to address the Relative Age Effect?

I am not sure if i have understood the question right. But bangsbo and krestrup from denmark have looked at something like this i think !!!?
