Don't let Lack of training area's put you down - go train by yourself. What type of athlete are you planning to become. For running if you don't have to be in a track to run. As long as there is a track then you can excercise and train. A club or group will be better but as you said there is no training avalible nearby. Im a swimmer so Im not a expert in running but perhaps, a 15min long warm-up jog followed by a quick 20 min fast paced run then a 15 min warm-down jog. If you do it once a day or once two days followed by leg excercises such as skipping star-jumps etc etc. You should increase the times as you get fitter. And throw in some 30sec or 1 min sprints as well.

thats a good goal, but too vague, narrow your goals down to what specific sport you are interested. The only way to help you is to begin by looking for a coach. Go out and start looking from the community, see if there are any programs you can join and participate. Its basically impossible to help you over the internet if you really want to become the person you want to be. You need closely monitored of your training program, I am sure there are lots of personal trainers in Liverpool. But remember to look for sport specific trainers, or else, you would not gain max benefits from it.

You have to be more specific with your goals.
For example, what would be the choosen level of your field? And what are the leading organsation for that?

If you are a runner, and you want to compete professionally, at, then your first goal would be train indiviually(highly doable) and find ways to make it to represent your country nationally.

You could read something about distance running - marathon. You don't have to be a member of any club or squad. You need to buy the right shoes and clothes and maybe some other technical stuffs, as a watch etc. Besides that you need to run 4-6 times a week. Good luck
