Question:

What happens if you use 100m 200m shoes

if your shoes are for 100-200m race what will happen if you use it in a 400 m race?
i bought Pumas that they developed for Athens and it was 100-200 m but arent most shoes like up to 400m ? answer me peeps

100-200m shoes would still be suitable for a 400m sprint, however generally shoes for shorter distances are angled more (from the balls of the feet to arch of your feet). Though it varies from shoe to shoe and brand

you'll still be able to use it but if you go longer (cross country etc) you might ruin it.

I think its okay but make sure that they are sharpened to reduce lag.......hope this helps

Since 100, 200 and 400 are basically all on your toes

my friend that runs the 400 runs in the same shoes as i do and i run the 100 and 200

he doesn't seem to have any troubles

Sprint shoes are different to middle or distance shoes in design... you can definitely use them for 100-400m
