Volleyball
I want to make a rep volleyball team! Tryouts are in september and i need some trainig ideas from now to then to help me prepare. Any ideas?

Obviously sport specific training is key to making any team. try and play recreationally and competitively as much as possible. Beach volleyball is more physically demanding in some respects so that for muscle strength is key- its summer so why not!?!
Also on a training front, plyometric training would be really appropriate, depth jumps especially. Again train this on different surfaces and try and add resistance as training progresses.
For upper limb power try using a medicine ball to throw and move at different angles.
cardio-wise I'm not too sure on volleyball though it seems to be a very fartlek based game so quick acceleration and deceleration training would be good for this.
