If i Drink Skimmed milk every day for a month and not drink anything else or eat anything else cept from veg and fruit.. will that be a healthy lifestyle?

lchimi10
DEFINATELY NOT! A diet that extreme would not provide you with adequate nutrients, energy, protein etc required.
Hope you dont mind me asking but what are you trying to achieve with this diet? weight loss or just a general improvement in lifesyle?
Further info may help someone with more nutrional experience than myself to suggest a more appropriate diet plan (or at least point you in the right direction).
Whatever you do though please dont try the milk diet as even I can guarantee you that it'll only lead to ill health and injury!
Good luck!

The simple answer to your question is a most definite NO!!!! Drinking milk to such an extreme level would more than likely raise some serious health issues. Milk although low on the GI scale has an effect on your pancreas causing high insulin levels.

Where in the world did you get this idea found, it would be interesting to know who told you this?????BAD IDEA

You would probably run into some allergic reaction after a while. Dairy farmers have marketed milk as this wonderful food that we all need for strong bones and what not. Dairy in general isn't necessary, but in moderate amounts it shouldn't hurt you. I would be aware of all the hormones and antibiotics you're getting with that milk also.

Milk has actually been proven to strip the bones of its
calcium.
I do not think that would be a very good idea. You would not be having enough protein, so your performance in sport would not have been as good. Therfore i consider your idea to be not a very good idea.

Nope...all kinds of wrong! If you exercise routinelly and/or want to loose weight then follow a proper calorie controlled diet which provides all the required nutrients to support your lifestyle.
Grumpy...

Someone just saw Leon ;) I don't think it would be a great thing to do. You'll be needing some varied meals. Try to see the food pyramid

Man cannot live on milk alone!

Don't we drink breast milk for the first few months of our lives? Might have to get your facts straight.
If you have a goo balance of fruit and veg then you are ticking some of the essential boxes.
Just add some protein (Meat / nuts) and Carbs (Cereal, bread etc) and you should have yourself a pretty good diet there.
Might want to drink some water as the stomache struggles to digest milk quickly although semi skimmed milk is mostly water anyway!
Good luck and tell us what happens.
