Question:

How long and intense should sprinter workouts be?

I work with a coach who is good with distance runners but seems to work the sprinters too hard. We warm up for 20 minutes then workout running or on technique for an hour then finish with 30 minutes of kettlebell and 30 minutes of core conditioning. Many of the young athletes seem to be worn out and or bored with workouts this long. What do you think?
