Question:

Off season training for a sprinter

I'm a sprinter moving into my junior year. And I need training tips, maybe some ideas on what else I should do and whatnot. here is what I'm doing so far

Tuesday- Resistance training

Thursday- Plyometrics

Saturday- Weight training

I'm sure there is more to be done to help me sprint faster. Should I take creatine?

Info about me- I'm very skinny for a sprinter and trying to get bigger.

sophomore prs-

100- 11.4
200- 23.4

Hi, my name is Andy and I'm a Personal Trainer and Sports Conditioning Trainer in Bosnia. You should consider including some pre-conditioning work early in the off-season; lunge walks, leg cycling, high knee lifts, foot drills, backward running, sideways skips and single-leg squats, calf raises, and medicine ball abdominal work. This will help to strengthen the stabilising muscles around the joints and prepare you for the harder work to come later in the off-season. Acceleration work; 150 m split into 50 m segments, ie 50 m accelerate, 50 m hold and 50 m fast with long recovery- up to 4 minutes. If you would like more advice as the off-season progresses, let me know, I'll be happy to help.

Hey, some coaches recommend not to practise the same sport during the off-season, due to injury risk. Instead, let the tissues to recover while exercise other complementary things by practising other sports. Off-season is off-specific-sport. Strenght specific muscles during the basis stage.
