Question:

Tender achilles!?

As previously advice, stop road running but achillies still a problem... ok to stretch it etc but if i press on it, it's very tender!

Hello,

The treatment depends on how long you were having the achillies problems?
In general, for tendinitis try this:
-REST!!!
-ice
-drink a lot
-stretch
-keep doing a light activity such as walking or cycling
-avoid milk-products for a couple of days

If you were having this injury for a longer time, I recommend that you contact a physio/trainer to get some extra treatment (ultrawave, shockwaves, etc.)

Try putting heel lifts in you shoes - it helped me. In some people dairy promotes inflammation. A food allergy test will help to determine foods to avoid.
