Is there a safe, reliable stamina test for chidren?

We are trying to establish a baseline level of pupil's stamina before delivering a range of activities and then measuring the pupils again. We will probably working indoors with little specialist equipment available. The class sizes will be around 30 pupils, aged 7 - 11, and we have two staff to administer and record the tests which must be easy to deliver.
