Question:
How many hours of triathlon training should I do?
I am a serious wanna-be triathlete, and I want to become the best I can become. However, there is controversy in my house about how many hours of training I should be doing a week, without causing injuries. I currently do 12-15 hours a week of power walking, cycling, swimming and weight training. Is this too much, less or enough. Note in mind, I live for my exercise, so I want to be able to do as much as possible, as I feel loss without it.

Alright there. I think i have spoken to you before. You are still quite young in terms of training loads. Dont worry i aint going to patronise you but dont forget you probably still have some physical growth to count for.
Concentrate more on foundation work for now. Building up your mileage on the bike and running. Swimming will be a good form of therapy for your knee joints so get in the pool 2-3 times a week too.
For now, I would say absolutely no more than 90 mins per day (including warm up and cool down) and have at least 2 rest days a week. You will get fitter and adapt on your rest days not while you are training. Try combining two disciplines such as cycling for 50 minutes followed by a 20 minute run, or swimming 64 lengths followed by a light weights session.
You can get books on training for a triathlon off amazon and ebay if u need more info!

Consider rest of minimum 48 h for trained muscles, as PP said in reports. If your target is mileage, then you must put a lot of focus on technique due to major injury risk.
