Trying to devise strength training programme for female soccer players
Sports science student providing support to college ladies soccer team.Observed not good at jumping so testing vertical jump and need to provide intervention to improve performance.Want to provide strength training (particularly lower limbs)to see mprovement following 10 week programme

You would need to concentrate on big compound exercises mainly for the legs. Exercises such as lunges, squats, weighted steps (more for endurance) and also leg extensions.
you want to condition their upper body as well as women tend to have quite weak upper body in comparison to their legs.
Once they have progressed you can think about supersetting as well.

Plyometric training too. If you looking at air time and quick movement off the ground, there's a range of plyometric exercises you could do. Just use google and see what could be specific. I wouldn't necessarily say the norms like lunges and squats are the way to go but they are important if you don't have the strength to conform with plyometric exercise. Injury might occur.
