What is the best thing to eat the night and morning before a ride?
i am going away for the weekend and i have a 26k ride on saturday, then going to the south downs on sunday for more of the same. so i want to prepair properly.

At night, eat plenty of carbs, most probably pasta with a good creamy sauce. In the mornings, pretty much the same with the carbohydrates. Eat porridge with a banana milkshake and take energy drinks with you. Good luck on your ride

Foods rich in carbo with a little amount of protein im the morning and foods with lot of carbo and more protein at night, of course before 9-9:30 p.m and sleep 10:00-10:30 p.mDuring the day you must eat 4-5 balanced meals, with breakfast to be the most important,3-4 hours after breakfast eat a banana,drink some juice mixed with honey and eggs,not the yellow think of the egg or mixed them with milk.After 3-4 hours it's lunch time,don't over do it,later after 3-4 hours you can eat yogurt with nuts, honey and a banana.And after 3-4 hours you have reach dinner.
