For 800m and the 1 and two mile events i also recommend NIke milers, but for marathons i suggest a lighter weight racing shoe.

Shoe selection is totally dependent on your anatomy and running biomechanics. Without additional information - age, weight, height, body fat %, running speeds for the various distances, and MOST importantly seeing how you run (slow motion video analysis) and the wear on your current running shoes - both 800 and marathon - it is impossible to recommend shoes. Brands and models are also based on fit - how does the particular last used to construct the shoe fit your foot and feel when you run in them.

Generally, I believe that many runners use shoes that are too rigid and too heavy.
