Are you making these mistakes as an Athlete?

Don’t get me wrong nobody’s perfect, especially me, many of these ideas came from my “Stupidity”, a rollercoaster of discovery, injuries and re-injury, does that sound about right? Trust me you are not alone in this.

Some of the issues I discuss:
Not Preventing Injury
-Warm up properly:
-Training correctly:
Training Like a Bodybuilder
Not Learning the Sport
Conditioning
Taking on too much
Poor Nutrition
Goals
Not using Olympic lifts
Knowledge
Bad attitude

I wrote this article to be taken with a grain of salt, they are just my over-exsadurated views. You know you want to read it, it may even make you laugh.

Learning The Hard Way About Warming-up Safely

After years of muscle strain, torn ligaments and every other injury I could suffer in the name of enjoying sporting activities and getting healthy, I have finally learnt the hard way about preventing injury by learning how to prepare properly for sport and exercise. My physio told me I had to start using compressive knee supports since I was suffering knee pain and he said I was heading for early arthritis. After trying lots of different things without sucess I found these great elasticised thermal knee supports from thermomedic which use bio-ceramic fibres to provide warmth as well as physical support. You can find out more info from http://www.thermomedic.com I also use them for walking and also under my clothes when working because they have a nice slim fit.

Pose running

I was injuried in buts some years ago, while thinking running was more will than other things. So I went for Pose running method, very technical, so this idea of Ironwill is bad for beginners (and everyone). Instead, we must check sport related good techniques, go for strengh for these new adaptations, and then go from short to long approximation.
