Truly Bionic Now
Now at surgery #8. I thought I was finished at #7. As it turns out, #7 was a relatively minor hip surgery to remove some bone growth (hetero-ossification) but #8 was the biggie. Had to get my beloved hip resurfacing revised to a THR. More details are on my site (too much to cover here): bionicjudo -Rainer

A Little More Bionic
Surgery #7 during past 9 years coming up in August. Looks like some kind of bone spur or scar tissue on greater trochanter of hip. Had resurfacing done 5 years ago but this is just as painful, i.e. bursitis inflammation. Actually had to get another Disabled Permit. Ah yes, the repercussions from years of extreme training.
