Challeging core and functionality routines?

Does anyone have the same problem as me? Trying to find a useful and challeging core / functionality routine for the whole body. I have tried the 500 rep workout and the 300 routine. They are good and hard but is there more variety out there? Being in the armed forces i need routines that are varied and ones that challenges the whole body to reap the benefits to help improve my core for running, whole body strength and cardiocascular conditioning. Heavy weights is not really helpfull here.???

sorry just answered your question and thought of something else - how about the core book online here, otherwise try the Elphinstone and Pook book (the core queen and king in my opinion). A couple of my athletes (throwers) follow a swedish type of balistic work with weights, and a skipping programme from a russian man (can't remember name but can get info for you if you interested). I know the skipping sounds a bit "girly" but it bloody well works every muscle in your body and it's also quite portable. hope this extra bit helps
