We often overlook the big picture due to our preoccupation with tiny details. We sweat it out over micro nutrient profiles and worry about getting the latest bit of sporting gear to give us that all elusive "edge", and yet we can so easily neglect the most important and fundamental aspects of the way that our bodies work.
If I tell you that your gut health is vitally important to your progress in the gym or on the athletic field will your eyes glaze over because this is hardly a glamourous topic? Possibly. But hopefully you will sit up and take notice when I tell you that at least 70% of your immune system function is dictated by having a healthy gut, and that without gut health your own overall health, your training, and your body will ll be seriously compromised.
