I graudated in one of the universities here in Cebu. Taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in P.E (Physical Education). After graduation, I immediately looked for a school to where I could teach. Fortunetly, I was hired. I only served that school for one year. After which, I looked for another school in other to have a greener pastuer. In the year 2002, I was hired in University of Cebu as MAPEH teacher (Music, Art,Physical Education and Health). Since then, i didn't transfer to other school because I like that school so much. One year after, some of my friends who was teaching with other school asked me "What sport did you handle?" I said "Nothing". Then they replied " What?! You are a P.E teacher, you suppose to handle any sports". and I said," I wanted to, but all of the sports were being carried/ handled by someone else". After that conversation,I made to think that I have to handle a sport, that because this is what my friend told me but this is really what I am. I am really a sports lover.
In 2004, my dream was being fulfilled, I handled the volleyball event for our yearly intramurals. However, I was just a neophyte to this event, though I was able to play volleyball but training a volleyball event is some what different. I ask my co - teacher Mr.Paul Delgado (he is one of the sponsors of my wedding) to teach me how to deal with this trainings. Thanks God , that he is so good to me, he able to teach me the basic foundations on ow to design a program. since then, I was able to managed the team. Neverhteless, there are still lack of confidence in my part because i didn't even know how to spike, top- spin serve because I can only manage underhand serve. I could they the fact, that the players were better than me. They even the one who teach me some drills to be done during the practices.
Every game, that we played. We were loosers. But I didn't lose hope because I know that skills, trainings and support were lacking. Every competition should be prepared 100 % physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
In 2006, I was acknowledged by our athletic director, Mr. Bernard Ricablanca. I was so happy, flattered and guilty receiving an honorarium. Happy and flattered because I didn't expect that I will be listed as an official coach for high school volleyball. Guilty in a sense that I was able to bring UC any medal for our event. Since, then I was making my coaching career as part of my job. This was also the year that Ryan Pet Arreza (my husband), college varsity helped me with the trainings.
Year after year, I was learning. Last year, our director told me to handle the college women. At first I was hesitant to accept the offer because I know I am not going to make it because I know what could I give. But then,I came to realized that 3 of my high school girls will be in college. I could not afford to loose them, since they are one of my best athletes. Consequently, I accepts the offer.
This year, I could say that I am coaching not only as part of my career but rather this is now my vocation.

I'm asking you to help me how to deal with their program. Our event received least support from the administration because of poor performance. They haven't give glory to the school. Although our director, doesn't rushed us. However, I didn't want to put an end of our future, I want to excel in little way. Please..... would you mind help me with this?
Thank you so much.
God bless
