Hi Brian - just looking at your site with interest - could you please elaborate on what you mean by 'a tactile stimulation' please?

Thanks

James

Proprioceptive Stimulation

When I use the term tactile stimulation in describing proprioceptive insoles, I am referring to the pressure exerted against the bottom of the foot, defined by the geometry of the insole. Specifically the medial bar (the proprioceptive part of the insole) has 3-dimensional characteristics. The vertical dimension provides most of the tactile stimulation to the foot.

Hopes this helps.
