Hey there.

As part of my MSc, I have decided to to complete a scientific support placement. I am required to complete an analysis for an individual or team.

I am looking to perform a kinamatic (movement) analysis using filming techniques. The analysis can be for an individual looking to improve technique. The video analysis will help with feedback to the performer involved. A full report will be written up after for the performer if I complete an analysis.

There is also match analysis. This is more statistical. The results would be from a game/several games being filmed or using archive footage to assess a variety of aspects of the game. This may include areas such as reasons for points/goals conceded, conditioninig weaknesses, how attacking oppotunities arise. The list is almost endless. There is also a scope to work within a sports injury/podiatry setting if needed.

What I am looking for is a placement within a team or with an indivdual. It does not matter what level of competition is being perfromed. Ideally the placement will be in the South/South East of England but I am open for any suggestions of other areas if you feel that you would benefit from the service I can offer you. If is of course free.

If you are interested in supporting my placement, please send me a personal message. Ideally I need to know where you are based, the team/individual that will be worked and level of competition. I would also like to know in the message what kind of analysis you are interested in. I can also perform EMG or force platform analysis if necessary.

The work completed will be confidential. If the work is legiable to be published, we can discuss terms of publication. This work will benefit any team or individual greatly as well as helping me pass my course!

Look forward to your replies

Thanks

Alex
