Hello from Toronto!
Short and sweet an office drone who hit forty and realized that I hadn't done anything 'fun' in quite some time. Snowboarding looked good so I gave it a go. All was well for the first day but then I had a fall and spend the rest of the weekend (thank god it wasn't a week) watching everyone else have a grand time at Whistler.
I have been trying to rehab my injury but it has taken time. An even older injury (squash) resurfaced which has been making things a little difficult.
So! Though I'm not great I have been trying to track down a swim programme/instructor to help me develop some cardio and get my legs working again. NO one in my town wants to work with adults. A shame really. I was successful at earning the BRONZE MEDALLION but I have seven weeks to prepare for the BRONZE CROSS . A proper eggbeater kick still eludes me so I need to be fit; to have the cardio power to enable me to spend the time to get these further lifesaving skills down.
My weak ankles, knees, and inactive glutes are making things difficult.
So I began an online search and 'voila!'-- I found this site.
I'm looking at trying out the PEAK PERFORMANCE PERSONAL TRAINER for the sixty day demo. There is so much information out there and I don't have the time to spend on the research, not knowing which studies are serious and which ones are pure rubbish.
Glad to have found you all,
Camille )
