I am a former national standard middle distance athlete. After retiring from competitive athletics I did some coaching of young athletes. After this I did I did a Diploma in Health and Fitness and qualified as a personal Trainer and a member of REP's. Was doing this part- time but now limited due to family responsibilities.
I have been doing some conditioning work with a top young swimmer. Am just completing a sports nutrition course and have also a health related fitness qualification under my belt.
I am also quite interested in use of heart rate monitor for more effective training. Basically the provision of elements that were not readily available to athletes/ sports people when I was competing.

Hi I just thought I would say gday. My name is Chris and I am from Australia. I am a sprinter in the 100m and was formerly at national level but stopped for quite some time but have just gotten back into training for the winter season with 3 really hard sessions per day. I have decided to go out hard and really put in the effort because I'm 24 this year and I haven't got the luxury of as much time as I used to have when I was 17, however I'm still young so there is still a good chance for me to make some major competitions.

I am also qualified with a certificate 3 and 4 in fitness, registered with fitness Australia and 1 year of a human movement degree. I have been a personal trainer for about 5 years now and I am starting an online personal trainer business and I also do seminars on the areas of health, fitness, personal development and motivation. Feel free to drop me a message if you wanna chat.

Cheers, Chris.
