I had an ACL allograft recon last month after 9 years of having my first. This time I was not lucky since at the 8th day I had to be re-open to clean it due to an infection. Now I'm recovering but is still painful when doing my therapy. The knee is still swollen and I'm scare if that cadaver tissue is not good for me.
My extension started at -26 and now is -10 in 3 wks, flexion is almost ok, painful.
I use to play tennis but now that is just story, I know that i can't be anymore at a competitive level.
Anyone out there have heard about a similar experience.

I had my knee done about 9 months ago, MCL,ACL,Meniscus and Patella tendon. # weeks to get to 10 deg. is not too bad I was at 15 to 20 deg. for about 3 months. I still have a lot of soreness. just take things day by day, it will get better. Many pro athletes are still competitive after an ACL operation.
