Hi, I just signed up to benefit from the discussions posted.
And who knows I may be able to shed a little light on someone's problem.
I am 28 and a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist in Yorkshire, England.
I was involved in competitve sport some years ago and have represented Great Britain in 2 World Kickboxing Championships.
I love the range of backgrounds from young active atheletes to highly qualified experts on the site, its really good that those niggly questions can be answered by people from all sorts of experiences and varied training.
I look forward to being part of some of the discussions and learning lots more from everyone out there.
Cheers Clare

Hi Clare, a big hello to you too!
I'm not a professional athlete..."just" someone who wants to keep fit. I post here now and then when time permits...and I started a thread sometime back, titled "What do the experts think?" Last night I posted my entire exercise schedule. My biggest problem is the tummy area. I have no idea how to lose the flab. The sit ups, crunches I do appears to strengthen the stomach muscles but doesnt seems to attack and burn the flab.
I'm vegetarian. My source of protein comes from Soy Protein shake which I take before and after work outs, daily inake of Tofu, bean sprouts, nuts, peas etc. I eat quite a bit of leafy veggies, and fruits and rice is usually reserved for the weekend-one helping, fist size. My food intake is almost every 2 1/2 hours and I dont eat after 730pm. I drink about 3 litres of water. My carbo comes from steamed sweet potato, and wheat and muti grained breads.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks in advance!
dr sunshine
