Hi!
I just stumbled across this website whilst doing some research for my upcoming expedition to Antarctica (for details see my blog on the site)
I've beeen in the fitness business in one for or another since I was 14... so 22 years worth!
Qualified as a personal trainer, I've trained individuals, teams, elite athletes, and now moving on to the biggest challenge of all - getting myself physically and mentally prepared for one of the harshest landscapes in the world, Antarctica.
I've only been on the peripheries of the fitness industry for the last ten years following a car accident, but kept my hand in with the odd PT session, training trainers, giving the odd seminar or "teach in" session in various clubs, and management colnsultancy for clubs.
The expedition isn't just about me achieving an ambition, it's about changing my entire lifestyle. Off the back of the project I'm hoping to get back in to the industry full time by coaching people for extreme projects requiring a high level of fitness, and by giving motivational talks and seminars about my journey from a hospital bed to the south pole.
If anyone wants to find out more either check out the blog on here, or drop me an email to
Have fun, and train smart!
Justin
PS. I'm looking for sponsors if anyone's got any ideas. As well as the obvious monetary sponsorship, training aids, gym endorsements, supplements and other products are required. If you've got an idea, even juyst a spark, drop me a line.
