Just to introduce myself..

My name is Dominic and I live in West Yorkshire, England. I am 30yrs old and am training to be a Secondary School PE teacher.. After several years of inactivity after Uni (for the 1st time!) I decided to get myself back in shape like the old days.. it's been a struggle!

I am active in the sport of triathlon - so i guess my main sports are obvious.. but i also play soccer, tennis and squash. For the last 5yrs I have been a bit of a health freak and some of my work colleagues think that I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to healthy eating and exercise.

As part of my course i have developed an increasing interest in Exercise Physiology.. and this is something that i would be interested in studying more about once i qualify as a teacher.. i just have to get out of this office soon!!!

One question if anyone has bothered to read this far is: I've tried and failed many times to keep an accurate food diary for longer than a week.. any hints or tips to make it easier. As i get older i'm finding that the intake of calories has to be monitored a lot more closely, especially in the off season.

Have a great day!
