Hey athletic community!

My name is Steven Wynne, I am 22 years old and I am working in Guyana (in South America), doing sport coaching for the Deaf children and I am Profoundly Deaf myself. I am enjoying the volunteering work at the moment.

Anyways, I find the forums fantastic and it does give me lots of information about everything i want to know how and what to do to improve my own fitness and strengths.

I am middle distance runner, preferably 800m which i did well in this area. My Personal Best for 800m is 2m 4s. It was when i was 16 years old and before all the bad injuries i got on my knee since i was 17 until last year. I am on mend now and currently training to get back to my best form and to try to get better than 2m mark to get in the GB deaf team for Taiwan deaflympics.

Hope I will find some useful tips how to improve my 800m and to get under 2minutes required to qualify for the deaflympics.

Keep up all the good work on forums!

Cheers
