Or something 8) Well, i am 21 years old coach and a neartakecare - student from FINLAND"!!! (maybe that is explaining this all huge mistakes for writing english).

But, my team is about 12 swimmers and 1 coach plus me. They are aged about 10 to 15 and several different level. Someone are level one (can swim, but not properly), someone then level two ( are able to get race, but they dont want to) and level three (are racing and take training seriously)

One of my good swimmer is 10 years old (boy) and he's best times:

freestyle
50 37,28
100 1:33.90

backstroke
50 46,5

breaststroke
50 52,1
100 1:51.1
200 4:10,4

butterfly
50 50,9

medley
100 1:54.87

well, not so good, but takes a good start with his swimmingcarrieer :)

What do ya think about that?

Hey I think what you do as a coach is AWESOME and you are so young too! I just swim for fun. My game is running, and I don't coach anyone just yet. Perhaps in the future I will as I gain more experience as a runner, and hopefully win a race or two. I am 43, and I am getting a little faster, so I believe that there is a chance I could actually win something!
I've only been running for a few years, but I only have been serious about running forabout a year.

Swimming on the other hand, I like to do for fun, and it helps soothe achy muscles after a long run. I find it relaxing. However, it is starting to get too cold outside to use the pool. The water TEMP is about 62 degrees ferenhite not celseius as you probaby read, I guess. I have to close it up soon. Perhaps sometime next week. I'll probably prepare the water to close it this weekend.

Hi, I am a pro coach in New Zealand, one rule I live by is never discount any swimmer. It doesn't really matter how fast your kids are at 10 it matters how fast they are at the Olympics. I coach a range of swimmers from club to masters to tri (about 110 all up). The club squads I coach number 50-60. The range 8 years -18years. I say all this because each one of them is a future Olympian (I know its not true but if one is, I can't say which one it will be). Just to verify my credentials, 9yr 50fr 33sec, 10 yr 30 sec. (maybe my olypian currently does 40 secs, who knows) Only time will tell.
Cheers, enjoy the sport and believe in yourself. Only then will your kids believe in you too.
