[=blue]Hi
I am a rower from New Zealand but I am currently living, rowing and studying in the USA.
I have been rowing for a number of years now and I am always looking for new ways to enhance my training...so if anyone has any training ideas, or things that have worked for them to improve pretty much any area of physical fitness(as rowing requires it all) that would be awesome!!!

catcha later!!! :lol:

I take it you're a water rower? How much ergo work do you do? Do you race on the ergo at all? What sort of standard are you?

I'm a purely indoor rower.

Hiya, looks like theres a few rowers amoung us here!

Whereabouts in the states are you rowing? Have you found any major differences in the way you trained in New Zealand to how the U.S might approach things?

Bet there is some awesome scenery to row around out there!!!

Hi There,

I am living and rowing in Washington State(west coast, up by Canada)...we row on the snake river which is surrounded by huge cliffs- it is a great place to row just us and the swimmers(in summer).

We are doing rather a lot of indoor rowing at the moment, due to the fact that we can't drive down to the river or put our boats in the water because of ice and snow.

I haven't done a 2km in quite some time so I have no idea where I am at in terms of that sort of testing.....we are still in the 6km eg test phase.

Hi there,
Just to say that is good to know that there are other rowers here. It would be good if we share training tips :lol: I am from Cyprus and I train in a wonderful dam, but until June I will be studying in Plymouth, U.K. Plymriver is OK as well but too cold for me.
Good to hear from you and Gongratulations to Pete's team.
