.Hi Everyone
My name is Carol and I am a 43 year old dance teacher/choreographer from Renfrew in Scotland. Claim to fame - Have danced on stage with the "Tap Dogs!".
Have you every looked at yourself in the mirror and thought "oh boy - time for a change?" Well that's me. My hubby Stu was a professional badminton player and weightlifter and we use to train 6 days a week either in badminton or weightlifting - but you know what life is like...your job gets in the way...you have responsibilities etc etc!!!! Now because I don't train so often I have landed with a torn cartiledge in my knee and my compressed disks in my lower spine (from years of dancing) are giving me trouble. To compound the fact, I have several senior dancers who have just begun their dance teacher's certificate and I have started their training with dance flexibility/endurance training and it's killing me!!! I'm looking for tips and tricks from you folks on a training regime for myself and my dancers. Looking forward to speaking with you.
Caz :)

Back problems

I know this is somewhat controversial in some sectors but having suffered from compressed and a prolapsed disc through playing Ice Hockey i read some info on inversion therapy, hanging upside down like batman and gave it a try.
Inversion has worked for me and stretched me out no end.
I use morning and night 3 days a week and the difference in mobility and pain is fantastic, a new man again. Now all i need is the fitness to go with it!
