Hello,

About 2 months ago I sprained my ankle. At least that is what the doctor told me. Which was suprising because he never once touched my ankle or sent me to have it x-rayed. But to get to the point, I am still having problems with it. I can't run or even jog without alot of pain. Whenever I point my toes it causes pain or move my ankle around. I was wondering if this was normal, and if so how much longer will the pain last.

Thanks

Sprained ankle.

Hmmmm. I'm thinking it could be a brake, but the doctor should have at least touched it. When I broke my leg ( technically ankle ) the nurse kept feeling around it and she could tell if it was broken. Maybe you should go to the hospital ( was it a hospital?? ) and have it checked

Hello and welcome Faery.

I agree a proper examination is needed- is there any way you could switch to a low impact exercise to let it recover a little until that time? Running and jogging is hard on the ankles and if they aren't 100% you ould do it some serious harm.

Swimming?
