Hi there. I am 3 weeks into an intensive course (RSA) for exercise to music. Anyone have any good tips, on how not to be nervous in front of the group, and any easy repetitve steps, that I will not forget!
Also, getting moves to music etc.
I work full time, and the course is weekend so I am struggling a little bit!

Hi
Nerves are quite natural, especially when you are doing something new. Here is a method that I teach to help people to get their butterflies to fly in formation!
1. ACT confidently - breathing, posture, facial expression, walk etc.
2. SAY "I can..." (teach this routine well). Talk positively to yourself.
3. SEE - visualise yourself performing really well; see, hear and feel.
Focus on everyhting that you WANT to happen.
4. DO it!
You can also spend time mentally rehearsing your routines and imagining them going really well in the days before.
Hope these help.
Steve
