afternoon all

I'm doing a study to put together a conditioning program for my local american football side playing the UK BSL football league.

im collating material on positional, conditioning and core strength drills for developing the team using plyometrics and sprint activities and would appreciate any pointers for further information or existing guides i can reference.

any help would be gratefully appreciated

Hi- before you get cracking with the speed\ plyometric drills, make sure that your players have an adequate strength base. Many sports coaches see an idea or training drill (e.g.SAQ) and try to implement it without undestanding the underlying principles.
If your players can squat 150% of their body weight and bench press 100% that would be a good start. Get their underlying stability working too, that does not mean doing bench press on a core ball! It means working on low level TA, multifidus, gluteus medius and lower trapezius.
