I'm currently studying for my MSc in Elite Human Performance (biomechanics and physiology). I am hopefully sitting my UKSCA in December and already have 2-3 years as an exercise physiologist. I'm a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Level 2 football coach.
I'm trying to find a coach/team preferably around the Reading/West London area to get some experience working with a professional club/athletes. Whilst I can get some experience through my University, I have at least 1 extra day that I want to use for experience work.
Does anybody know of anyone who can help me out? I'm willing to travel and work for free, providing I get useful experience.

The best way to go about it I'd say is to make a list of all the clubs in that area and contact them by phone or email and ask them personally.

I've already tried that, but have no luck in anyone getting back to me??? Any other ideas would be appreciated, the link to map doesn't work?

i know the uni's near me offer intern schemes linking to clubs such as Sheff Utd, Sheff wed and the EIS Sheffield.
