I'm a tennis assistant and have a dilemma.
One of my students can hit the most amazing forehand for winners but can probably only do it about 1 out of 5 times. The rest of the time the ball is long or in the net.
I don't want to curb this natural talent by being more conservative but they lose the rally by going for more than I think they should.
I think the best thing to do is to practice so that they know when they can hit their great shot.
Does anyone have any ideas on the types of drill to work on this?
