I'm coach of a university rugby team and have read various sports psychology literature recently about the importance of the players moods leading up to games, and their subsequent attitudes towards playing. Something mentioned regularly in the literature is a questionnaire titled 'Profile of Mood States'. Don't suppose anyone knows where i can find a copy of this? Thanks, Dan.

I'm not convinced that POMs is a great predictor of performance, and that the moods that it measures are that useful to us (all but one are negative). I'm also a bit unsure about the benefit o fusing psychmetric tests before matches.

Drop me an email, however, and I might be able to get you the questionnaire, scoring system etc.
